you can opt out of your world by going to ‘settings‘ > ‘account’ > ‘your world’
・public: your world will be visible to both friends and others.
・only Friends: only your friends can see your world.
・only me: only you can see your world.
・nobody: neither your friends nor yourself can view your world. additionally, you won't be able to use features like tracking footsteps or checking in.
